Thirukadaiyur: (30 km from Thirunallar) View Route Map
Distance between Thirunallar and Thirukadaiyur is 30 km (approx). Thirukadaiyur is situated on Chennai-Pondicherry-Thirunallar route after Sirkali. Thirukadaiyur is famous for Amirdhakadeshwarar temple. People often visit Thirukadaiyur for marriage related poojas.

Thirumanancheri: (48 km from Thirunallar) View Route Map
Distance between Thirunallar and Thirumanancheri is 48 km. Thirumanancheri is situated on Kumbakonam-Mayiladudhurai route deviated from Kuthalam. People believe visiting this temple hastens marriage.

There is another temple similar to Thirumananjeri for marriage related poojas. The temple is called "Nithya kalyana perumal temple" located on ECR in-between Chennai and Mamalla Puram (Mahapalipuram).

Nice job...update hotels, booking details fares, and other local tours, how to visit all Navagraga temples, which is centre for all, which is best by bus, car etc...

We are planning a trip to Velankanni. Will reach Thanjr around 8 am 8 Jan 2012 by visiting the Brhadeswar temple and palace we wish to travel by 2pm to Karaikkal Will you please let us know how to travell by bus from Thjur to Karik and the travel time and good hotel at karaikkal

I never thought I will find a blog on Tirunallar. Great job Ela. We have been thinking of visiting this temple for a long time now and finally decided to do in July-Aug 2014 and your blog will help us a lot to zero in on best route to travel and best hotel to stay in. Though the post is very informative... since we will be travelling from Bangloare - Myladudurai - Tirunallar... would like to have some reliable taxi service contact details to pick and drop us back to myladudurai station.

thirukadaiyur only 20 minutes travel distance. Visit amirthakadeshwarar and abirami temple after visit thirunallar

**If you performed ayush homam at amirthakadeshwarar temple you should not go thirunallaru saturn temple (first go thirunallaru then visit thirukadaiyur) - don't go opposite**
